	Sign-In  Register            State FFA Convention State FFA Convention is a week-long convention of the Texas FFA Association. One of the most exciting FFA events of the year, it represents the end of the previous FFA year and the beginning of the new one! State Convention is held in a different city every year, so FFA members get to experience fun new places every time they attend. Students get to take turns being voting delegates, with opportunities to vote on new State Officers, official FFA business, and the best talent team in the State! Students compete in state-level speaking events, and receive State awards and scholarships, including the coveted Lonestar Degree (the highest degree awarded by the Texas FFA Association). When Convention is not in session, students get the opportunity to explore the unique offerings of the host city. State Convention is a great way to meet new FFA friends from across the State of Texas! Starting the 2017-2018 School Year, FFA Members will have to accumulate points by participating in FFA Events throughout the year, to attend State Convention. These requirements will be posted at a later date.  State FFA Convention will be held July 9-13, 2018, in Ft. Worth, TX.
